An I Spy bag is something I’ve been wanting to make Luke for a long time. I finally did it!
Some of the little objects I had in my beads, some I got at Hobby Lobby (they have a brand called “Dress It Up” and it’s a bunch of cute buttons and little objects perfect for this project) and the rest of the little objects I got from an Etsy shop called High Pie Supply.
I also got the plastic pellets at Hobby Lobby (in the doll making section)
One of the harder parts was taking a photo and making a card of all the little objects for him to find. I printed it out on cardstock and layered two more pieces behind it to make it thick and then I laminated the whole thing with clear contact paper. It’s pretty sturdy.
A funny little note about this bag—If you know Luke well, you know that he LOVES tiny little toys like this…hence the 50+ squinkies we have floating around our house! He really really really wants me to take the toys out of this bag so he can play with them! He kept snatching them off the table when I was trying to get the picture of all the objects! And he was a little sad that I included his little blue dinosaur and sewed him up so he can’t get him out! Sorry, kid, but at least you have a new fun thing to play with!
