Scott and I played some ScrabbLe for fun while we waited for our pizza to cook in the oven. Scott's not much for word games, but our scores were ridicuLousLy close the whole game! We both pulled out some major points for some of our turns and only had one word challenge-I challenged his word "sumo" because I didn't think it was English, but I ended up allowing him to have it. We forced a tie, but really I would have lost by 1 point! Talk about close game!

I FINALLY got to sleep in. I started a 4:30am custodial job on campus this week and I severely miss sleeping in my bed. I just got up every morning so un-satistfied with the time I got to spend in my bed each night. quite depressing. But last night was pure bliss, 10 straight hours of comfy sleepyness in my wonderful cozy bed!! I even had good dreams!!

YAY for BIRTHDAYS!! I do have to say that it is about time i turn 21!!

I had a really busy day running around doing all sorts of things!! I have to say that it was a blast!

Thanks Drew and Al for coming over and helping to get the biKe (and Steve (and Jen?), and thanKs Jen for letting me come hang out for a little while (we'll catch ya for dinner this week to celebrate with you), Thank You mom for the beautiful silver earrings (i've been opening up the box just to look at them at least twice a day!!) and the littLe bugs!
Thanks Scott for doing everything you did to make me so happy, it wouldn't have been the same without you.

Good News!! I've officially mastered the Rubik's cube. Since doing it for the first time without help last week, I've done it at least 10 times now on my own. Scott taught me how to do it last year, but I never got it on my own entirely. Then I made him help me with it again, then once I had all the moves down it was just practice and struggle to do it on my own. Now I can do it without any help and it is such a satisfaction!!

not a post since Wednesday? How uncharacteristic of me.

I've been pretty busy. Thursday Jen and I kept busy running around doing wedding stuff, and Friday I managed to find plenty to do with going to buy the invitations and working on my research project with my group partner. Friday Night was one of made up games and going through lists of things to do with no results... we ended up inventing a game and then playing a "what I know about you" game of battleship. You couldn't shoot until you answered a question about the other person correctly--that took a couple hours. Today we took the invitations to the printer, got McDonald's for breakfast and worked on deciding which off-shore excursions to do for our cruise in August. Kind of wish we were made of money so we wouldn't have to figure anything out--everything is so dang expensive. This cruise is costing us a lot more than I imagined...duh, Katie. Somehow I thought I could go to Europe for free...yeah riiiiight. The camera will be my friend.
