Merry Christmas...a little early.

**Update** See my new Chalkboard Style
version of this subway art HERE!!**

i am ready for December and Christmas and all things jolly.
so i worked on this subway art as
my early christmas present to you:

8x10
11x14
[for personal use only please!]
{in Firefox Browser} Click the image, then right click and "view image", click again to zoom to full size. (it should look pretty huge on the browser screen) Right click, select "save image as" and save it to your computer.

{In CHROME browser} you need to click "open image in a new tab" instead of "view image" all other instructions are the same.

If you are using Internet Explorer these instructions will not work.
Use Firefox {which is what I use} or download Chrome.

    1. sorry about that! Just click the picture and download it straight from the blog and you won't have any problems!

Click the picture, Right click "view image", magnify, right click "save image" and save it to your computer! Let me know if you have any more problems!

    2. When I click on the picture, it does not allow me to "view image" when I right click. Not sure what I am doing wrong. I have printed one of these before and it worked though!

    3. Maybe try it in a different browser or a different computer? Sorry that's like no help at all. When you click it the first time it should take you to a different screen with black background and a "slideshow" type screen of the images {they call it lightbox} and THEN you right click it and find "view image" Is it changing screens when you click it the first time?

    4. I also had similar luck. I arrived at the black screen w/ two image options but when I right click there isn't a "view image" choice. I could save as but am afraid the resolution will be too low for that to print well.

    1. Sorry I can't do that, I made this two years ago and that is entirely too much work! if there is one or two in particular I could tell you what they are called, but I won't go through and list them all. Sorry.

I can tell you that I download fonts from dafont.com and KevinandAmanda.com/fonts and wish you good luck!

  32. Thanks so much for this! It's so cute. I, too, found it on Pinterest. If anonymous checks back --- As for fonts, the site http://www.myfonts.com/WhatTheFont/ can help you identify fonts you like but don't know the names of.

  33. Katie- this is awesome. i was wanting to do something like this for my mantle and thought I was going to have to buy stencils to do it- you saved me alot of time. Thank you! If I wanted to put this on canvas- how would I do that?

    1. Great idea! I've never tried that before--but you could try this method http://www.abeautifulmess.com/2011/10/make-your-own-canvas-portrait.html (there's a FAQ at the bottom with more details)

    1. If you followed the directions under the picture, the image should be huge on your screen and you should 'save as" onto your own computer from that huge image. If you're trying to do it on a different browser than firefox or Chrome or trying to do it on an Ipad or tablet or something I can't really help you. If nothing works I could email you the file, but you have to email me directly.
