And then they forget all about them.
or something to that effect.
I've always set new goals at the beginning of January. I feel like it's something you should do to give you some focus or something to aim for throughout the year.
But somewhere in the middle of the month I get busy and let things slip. I usually have to get back on track at the beginning of each month.
However, I have actually done a lot better this year!
I'm happy to report that I've made these steps toward making progress on my 2011 goals this January:
Paint the House!
* We've bought the paint for Luke's future {bigger} bedroom!
*I've picked out colors for the dining room {it's a secret :D} & also our bedroom {dark gray! I can't wait}
Keep on Blogging {20 posts a month}
This post makes 21! Yay!
Journal (for real!) once a week
Yes! I've done my journaling at least once a week, but actually a lot more than that!
More Digital Scrapbooking
um...I've done ONE page. Not really what I was aiming for so I better get on that.
Keep trucking along on fitness goals
Thinking about trading in my elliptical for a treadmill.
I'm really sick of the elliptical and I'm getting lazy on it. Anyone interested in buying my elliptical? (email me kd.klipboard{at}gmail.com if you are!)
Open a shop online
DONE. Check it out here. I have a bazillion more things to list, but it's open!
Possibly thinking about doing a spring boutique locally again.
Learn how to make my own digital scrapbooking kits
nope. But I was saving this one for a rainy day anyway.
And I've added this one:
Read the Book of Mormon everyday.
My friend told me about readthescriptures.com and they email you your verses or chapters of reading each day! That way I can read my scriptures along with all the other online reading I do everyday.
I've been wanting to learn how to make my own kits too. I'll let you know if I learn anything good.
ReplyDeleteAlso, that readthescriptures site is awesome! Thanks for sharing; I'm so signing up!
I have a friend that wants to buy an elliptical. I just messaged her that you're wanting to sell one. Email me how much you want for it.
ReplyDeleteGood job with the goals!
I want to come to your spring boutique if you have it. I wanted to come to your boutique last year, but we weren't back in UT (I think... at least, that's my excuse and I'm sticking to it ;) ) But it looked like fun, and I am not very crafty (well, I am, but I don't really like to be crafty... probably because I'm more lazy than I am crafty) but I want some cute stuff for my house. I just don't want to make it. Ha ha.
