Keeping Busy

Thanks to all of you who've left sweet comments and are keeping us in your prayers. I can't begin to tell you how grateful we are for good friends and family who are willing to drop everything and be there for us when we need it.

It's best for me to keep busy lately, so here are some of the projects I've finished in the last week!

Vinyl is awesome. Getting a Cricut for Christmas was the best thing that's ever happened to my crafting! (Huge thanks to my in-laws who got it for me!)

I painted this tree last year with only the purpose of being a Family Photo Tree, but I looked at it one day and created this vision of awesome in my head:
my friends gave me some other ideas I may add soon too--gravestone, eery yellow eyes in the trunch, spiderwebs & a hanging spider... man there are just so many ideas!

Here's what it normally looks like:
This definitely got the wheels turning--I have big plans for this tree for every season and holiday!!

Also with vinyl, I did this really easy project:
oops, looks like i need a light bulb!

Saturday I had an affair with my sewing machine and hot glue gun to create this table runner and change the flowers in my topiaries to be more Halloween festive:

Next in the line-up:
Paint the walls in the dining room green like my kitchen
Paint the front & back doors RED. I so cannot wait for this.

  6. I love your Halloweeny wall. It's so festive. I was surprised that you would paint a tree just for the holiday, but I see it was already there.
